The Center for Advanced Infrastructure and Transportation (CAIT) and Rutgers University’s Alan M. Voorhees Transportation Center (VTC) are conducting a joint research study for the New Jersey Department of Health and the New Jersey Governor's Council for the Medical Research and Treatment of Autism. This study is intended to provide a broader, more comprehensive understanding of the transportation needs of New Jersey adults on the autism spectrum, and to identify the barriers that routinely prevent these needs from being successfully met.

The CAIT/VTC study, in the form of a confidential online survey, is specifically targeted to adults on the autism spectrum who are 18 years of age or older and their parents and guardians.  The survey is available at cait.rutgers.edu/autism-survey and we hope that we can count on you to promote it with other families and adults with autism. As an added incentive, CAIT/VTC will enter the name of every respondent in a drawing to win a $100 American Express gift card.

This important survey will close December 31, 2014, so it is essential that it be disseminated as widely and as quickly as possible. If there are any questions or concerns, please contact Cecelia Feeley, Transportation Autism Project Manager, at cfeeley@rutgers.edu, or by phone at 848.445.2975
